About Tommy.
For over a decade, I’ve helped Federal contractors of nearly every type and size find their way to sustainable growth. During that time we’ve seen bull markets and bear markets. Democrat and Republican Administrations. BlackBerry’s came into and out of style, EVs became mainstream and NASA achieved the first powered flight on another planet. Through it all, I’ve helped federal contractors mitigate risk and grow their bottom line.
I’m a connector first. I’ve managed large, high-performing teams and regularly bring people and companies together to co-create novel solutions to complex problems. I help contractors create and manage pipelines that bring multi-million dollar awards to bear. I’ve led capture and proposal development that resulted in over $400 million in contracts, including an award for a $250 million IDIQ.
Long term growth isn't gained or lost in a single award and it requires more than a temporary shift in how business development teams operate. I focus on not just winning work, but managing better too–regardless of business size. I’ve sat on the board on PMI chapter of DC for several years and ran the Mentor-Protege program for the PMI chapter of DC for eight years. More than anything else in my working life, I’m passionate about leading shifts in culture, processes, and mindset that enable federal contractors to achieve steady, reliable growth.
